A Waterchestnut in My Chubby Hand

Waterchestnuts always bring back fond memories of my childhood. I was browsing through the Cold Storage sections to look for healthy food (my diet has been bad nowadays due to my 0940-1345 Potter time) when I chanced upon a crate full of waterchestnuts. I don't fancy them now but when I was about three, they were like little treasures to me. My family did not and still does not eat them but I used to savour them. And how did I manage to get them in my small, chubby (Yup.. I was chubby then) hands. Haahaa.. I stole them from the apek's stall in the market.

Yes, I was a little thief at a young age of three. I did not remember how I started to take them without permission/paying but all I remember was taking it (I only took one everytime) out of my pocket when we are home and asked my mum to peel it. Don't recall that I was beaten for stealing but everytime I asked my mum to peel it for me, I got a stern warning from her.

Of course I do not do such a thing now (Gosh.. I'm a Potter, mind you!) and I do not recall how and when I stopped taking the waterchestnuts without permission/paying. But it's interesting how some things remind you of your childhood and how you chuckle at your own silly behaviour.

*twenty28eight is very thrilled because tomorrow is FRIDAY!!! Fighting!!!*
