I have lost a friend
A friend who's so dearest
To me
A friend whom I willingly
Lay my life down for
Just as I believe
She would also do so for me

A friend who kept

And nursed me back to health
When I was ill
A friend who hugged me
When I'm down

To put the smile back on me

I know she's happy somewhere

That she would be around
