The Day I Turned 29 Years 4 Days 13 Hours and 29 Minutes Old

I am now officially 29 years 4 days 13 hours and 29 minutes old.

My birthdays were always important to me. Were. This year, it was a totally new experience for me. I stayed at the Institution for the Goons until 6 plus in the evening, printing what we, Potters, consider as the scriptures that are deciding factors for the Goons to make it or break it. And yet.. I didn't feel any resentment. That was scary. Is that a sign of old age? Or maturity? Have to wait for my 30th birthday to decide that. And I pray I won't go through the same experience again.. and devoid of any resentment.

I would like to thank the following people for making my birthday special. Amazing that they put in the effort to make my day. And thankful too..
  1. Dedication 5 - for putting their differences aside by giving me a surprise party. Haahaa.. it was hilarious how 3 of them tried to stall me from approaching the Dedication 5 premise; with lies that even a 3-year-old can detect. Their tall tales made me slightly confused as I slept at 4.20 am on my birthday and was so woozy when I reached the Institution of Goons (I was trying to finish the scriptures as I came home late from the Singapore Idol). But when I reached the premise, they presented me with a chocolate cake (yummy.. yummy.. delicious!) and a CD of Dedication 5! I was very touched; Dedication 5 is one difficult group of goons but each one of them is sensitively a nice person.
  2. Excellence 5 - my darling ex-Goons. I miss them! They are a very sensible bunch of Goons and PurringFeline is lucky to have them. Thanks for the pizza! I was raveneous!
  3. My netballers who attempted to celebrate my birthday with me but failed. Thank you for the thought. We'll make time for one another, alright?
  4. My compatriots - the Potters; PurringFeline, PinkMonkie, Laneige Queen, P.H.Y.S.I.C.S, MsWhite, HowChianMeiNo.2 and GB1 (or is it 2? Kahkah..). Thank you for taking the time off to spend my birthday with me. Appreciate it a lot! Plus the bluetooth headset which I shamelessly request prior to my birthday.
  5. My 3 good friends - Fah, Zah and Dah (Hmm.. how their names rhyme..). I have known these 3 people since I was a teenager; Fah when I was in Secondary Two and the last two were my classmates in Secondary One! Dah made me a ganache (yummy.. yummy!) and the four of us had this 'fine cuisine' dinner. They were more excited about my birthday than I was; that's why you can count on OLD (literally or figuratively.. kahkah..) friends.
  6. My family - manage to coerce something expensive from my daddy (which my poor mummy has to share.. heehee..). To my sis and bro-in-law, the 'An-An and Sya-Sya' figurine.
  7. And to those people who called or messaged me. Thanks a million!

You all made my day!
